P.E Nation x Bala - Los Angeles Event

ONE WORLD. ALL NATIONS.
P.E Nation x Bala Event
Location: Los Angeles

P.E Nation and Bala held an exclusive workout event at Fairfax Training Club, a holistic wellness club in Westwood Los Angeles. Guests enjoyed a Pilates workout, with a full P.E Nation activewear set and Bala weights to experience and keep.

Guests included Kristina Kacheeva, Camella La Compte, Nikki Howard, stylist and model Jade Lily, poet and artist Arielle Astoria, model Danielle Burnett, model Emma Arletta and Pilates instructor Tasha Franken.

A range of P.E Nation studio-ready outfits were selected for the event to ensure maximum comfort, style and range of motion during the workout, including key activewear garments and layers from our core Baseline Collection in classic black colorway - a premium go-to for yoga and Pilates. With winter florals a continuing trend since they boomed in FW21, our Visualise Sports Crop, Legging and Jacket from our fresh 'Ready, Set, Let's Go' collection proving a popular choice for the occasion.

"P.E Nation set making me feel like I need to stop being so afraid to wear color and patterns in my work out sets because I can indeed pull it off. Here's to continuous body healing." - guest and poet, Arielle Estoria

Founded in 2018, Bala creates weights and workout equipment with a calm and powerful aesthetic. The LA based movement company now ships its stylish workout accessories to customers globally. Female founded by Natalie Holloway alongside her husband Maximilian Kislevitz, what began as a sketch on the back of a napkin has become a movement and non-negotiable workout tool for a community of men and women everywhere - as well as a symbol of strength and perseverance in our modern, fast-paced society. "There's a lot of pressure on being female, being a mom and just doing it all," says Natalie. "You have to juggle all day every day and that is just what is expected, which is a lot of pressure at times. I think the art of being female to me means to embrace it all: the good, the bad, the ugly. And embrace your fellow females and build each other up through community. Females are capable of so much it is truly an art!"

Fairfax Training Club was the perfect setting for this special event. A community-focused gym centered on holistic wellness, Fairfax offers a protocol that supports the mental and physical health of its members. "People are looking to spend their time in smaller, more intimate gym spaces," Fairfax founder Chiheb Soumer told Forbes. His vision was to make fitness and holistic wellness accessible to all. "It is essential to look at wellbeing in a holistic way to ensure you care for both your physical and mental self," he says. "I'm a firm believer in the importance of rest and recovery for our bodies, so that we are not constantly over-stressing ourselves with high-intensity workouts. I knew we had to offer our clients all aspects of fitness and wellness like yoga, meditation, Pilates, strength training, boxing, nutrition, and even cooking classes. Having a balanced approach to wellbeing is our number one priority."
