On Saturday December 3, a special VIP brand immersion experience was held in Newport Beach, California. A collaborative event between P.E Nation and bespoke custom jewelers Marrow Fine, the afternoon provided a special shopping experience for a select guestlist.
With plenty setting P.E Nation - an Australian active streetwear brand - and Marrow Fine - a bespoke fine jewelry business - apart, the two share much in common. Both companies are proudly female founded and female-led.
Sydney-based friends and designers Pip Edwards and Claire Tregoning co-founded P.E Nation in 2016, to launch a unique active-streetwear brand with a luxe, elevated aesthetic you can wear from studio to street and beyond.
Marrow Fine founder Jillian Sassone also launched in 2016. After spending 15 years on a successful corporate trajectory, Jillian first started Marrow as a passion project. It quickly became something more, with Jillian's eye for turning sentimental heirlooms into contemporary reimagined designs - attracting 250 clients in the first 12 months.
Today, P.E Nation ships to more than 95 countries globally, and launched its flagship store in Sydney in May. Marrow Fine has also grown from strength to strength, with a global customer base and stores located at One Paseo in San Diego and Lido Village at Newport Beach. "I’m very proud of the evolution of the brand," says Jillian. "When Marrow first started, I was meeting clients in my living room in the evenings after putting my daughters to bed—it was a very 'side project' sort of feel. Fast forward five years, and we meet with clients from all over the world every single day."
